This stylish little apartment block dating back to the late 1930s and nestling amid the greenery has been fully renovated into a charming hotel. The use of original materials, period furnishings, the renovation of the original flooring uncovered during the restoration work, the installation of a lift in the main stairwell, built in glass and iron in order to preserve the natural continuity of the marble typical of the period: all of this has helped to conserve the authentic nature of an architecture that typified the historical era that originally witnessed it. The large terrace, which offers stunning views as well as two sunrooms, one facing east and the other west, also hosts a heated area, covered in the summer, where guests can exercise in the gym. At the rear of the building is an area in which a little square has been restored back to its original appearance, with characteristic Roman stone paving, a 1930s-style service station and a fountain. In the middle of the square, in the shade of a century-old fig tree, guests can enjoy breakfast in summer, and receptions and events may also be organised in this splendid setting.
